What to bring to hospital when having a baby

Nursing Pajamas



The last thing you want to worry about when the job is to try to discover what is to be put in hospital bag and trying to hunt them down before running the hospital. Ideally you should have your hospital bag packed and waiting at the door for at least 2 weeks before the due date. So when the time is right, you can grab the bag and go without any last minute delays or problems.



Nursing Pajamas

It helps to have two bags for himself: one for work and one forhospital stay after including essential element of the child. It 'also helpful to have your partner a bag early work for themselves and some articles of useful work.

Work for you:

- Your birth plan, if you have one.

- Nursing bras. If you wear a bra during labor is helpful to have a nursing bra and ifintend to breastfeed her baby. Usually be allowed to nurse immediately after birth. Be sure to use appropriate nursing bra very comfortable, not one with rods.

For social and labor:
Clock with a second time for the contractions
- Camera / camcorder, if you want the film / tape, if necessary,
- Snacks, reading material

- Change of clothing, especially if they stay with you in the hospital for several days after thechild.
- Mobile phones / phone card
- List of important phone numbers
- One-dollar bills for vending machines
- Water spray / Mister soft reuse during childbirth.
- Tennis balls for back massage

Bag hospital for postpartum use:
Front opening nursing nightgown
- Comfortable to wear clothes to leave the hospital. Remember that you will not be able to wear maternity clothes a few days after not having a baby! So bring comfortable clothes and transition of motherhoodclothing. Also, if you have a caesarean section, the last thing you want is any pressure on your abdomen. A belt of cotton elastic that fits comfortably under the belly or that is designed to break down below the belly for comfort is better.
- Easy Fit Shoes
- Change of underwear and maternity pads for the bleeding after childbirth

- Personal music player and headphones

Properly installed car seat. This is a must if you want to take your child home with you! Make sure you have your car professionally installed instead of several weeks beforego to the hospital. Every fire station you can install the car seat for you. An alarming number of car seats are not installed properly by their parents.
- Diapers for infants
- Infant hat
- Blankets
- Bed or baby equipment
- Socks / booties

If you have all these essentials ready to go forward, you can rest assured that you are well prepared when the time comes to have your baby!
