After a student has a license to practice nursing, it is very easy to get into what is called the LPN to RN bridge programs. These are offered online and at many community colleges.

A licensed practical nurse diploma is the quickest way to find out if nursing is for you. It gives the LPN to work in health centers and to interact with patients andtheir families. It also provides the opportunity to see what a nurse does every day and what their duties and responsibilities. And if you find that care is not the career for you, just spent a year in school is out instead of three or four.
